Developed on the HT-PUSH vertical brake structure, the new electronic HT-SPEED&BRAKE E combines manual acceleration and braking in a single device. To incorporate the braking function, which is unchanged from the original HT-PUSH vertical brake and is operated by pushing the lever forward, the driver accelerates by pulling the button located on the side of the lever. Acceleration is achieved by controlling the change in the magnetic field, which is amplified by an electronic control unit that is connected to the original vehicle system. The change in the magnetic field generated by the movement of the non-mechanical controller significantly increases the service life of the device. After turning on the vehicle ignition, the electronic HT-SPEED&BRAKE E accelerator is activated by pressing the start button. The accelerator is designed to interface with the electronic control units of various vehicles without having to modify their functional specifications, cruise control and kick-down. For better acceleration control during initial use and during more complex driving maneuvers, activating the Park function can reduce acceleration by approximately 50%, increasing the handling capacity of the device.
Particular attention has been paid to ergonomics and design. Changing the color of the button, matte black combined with aluminum parts on the lever, allows the device to be integrated into the interior of today's vehicles. The different possible settings, as well as the possibility of placing the horn and electric parking brake buttons on the left side, mean that the device can be adapted to the needs of each user, allowing for the best possible integration with the interior.
The HT-SPEED&BRAKE E is not connected to the steering column, leaving enough space for transferring from the wheelchair to the seat, and the vehicle's safety features, such as knee airbags and steering wheel settings, remain unchanged, without the need to modify the plastic parts of the passenger compartment of the car. As this is a standard device, it can be later transferred to a newly purchased vehicle. The vehicle in which it was installed can then be restored to its original condition.
The electric horn and electric handbrake (parking brake) functions are not available in the ECO version!
